ABOUT US
FCTwenty11 Football Club is one of the leading clubs in the north-west of Christchurch. Our aim is to provide football opportunities to all participants – young children, youth, Adults; and of all abilities & aspirations from social football to competitive, with talent identification and development pathways that also includes a Skills Academy run by Our UEFA and OFC ‘A’ Licenced Director of Football and team of Football Development Officers.
We provide playing opportunities from ‘First Kicks’ through U9 – U17 grades, Mens and Womens, Masters, and our First Team competes in the NZ Football Southern League national league. With the FIFA Womens World Cup kicking off in New Zealand and Australia in less than 100 days, it is exciting times for the sport and Womens football in particular.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Working closely with the Chairperson, Director of Football, and the Management Board, you’ll take responsibility for administration, communications, marketing, sponsorship, funding applications, health & safety requirements, meetings and On-field organisation of teams. This role works very closely with our Director of Football and the Development Officers in particular in providing coaching programs, schools programs, and organisation of teams playing in various Mainland Football competitions and other participation opportunities. The role is varied, and no day is exactly the same as the next!

ABOUT YOU
You’ll be passionate about sport especially at child and youth ages, and preferably with a Football background and administration/operations experience but not essential. You’ll be flexible, able to work with a wide range of people from parents to coaches to business people. Your enthusiasm will be contagious, you’ll be a great communicator, work collaboratively, with an eye for the bigger picture but with great attention to detail also.
You’ll preferably be able to bring to the role already established quality relationships with funding entities, familiar with their processes, and be able to create compelling applications for funding support. Your administration management and prioritisation will be second-to-none and you’ll be a proven expert at great operational delivery.
Overall you’ll be resilient, very comfortable in a fast-paced environment, have an affinity and love of sport, agile and great under pressure… In other words, a sport administration & operations superstar!
