FC Twenty 11 is proud to announce its 2022 Development Pathway for Youth Players.
Our club vision has always been to provide opportunities for players, coaches and club members to succeed in gaining football knowledge and skills, inspiring them to participate in and enjoy the world game. The programme provides for those who are seeking extra challenges.
Those youth players and teams in the development programme have the opportunity to play against the best aged-based teams in Christchurch, which is referred to as the Canterbury Development League (CDL).
Playing in the CDL league is NOT a priority of the programme. The aim of the programme is to:
These will be addressed by training two to three times weekly with a dedicated Coach (overseen by our Director of Football, Cvetan Ivanov – Tsetso, UEFA “A” & OFC “A” licensed coach).
Open training and Team allocation sessions will commence in March, with training for the winter season to commence on 21 March 2022. As we have passed this date, please contact the Director of Football to discuss options available.
Once teams are finalised a decision will be made on the grade most suitable for the team i.e. the Director of Football will assess whether the team is best suited for the CDL league or Division 1.
For those players who wish to continue playing social level football we will continue the current club pathway with opportunities for them to be able to train with development players.
