After a good win last week, FC TWENTY 11’s top women’s team is back at Avonhead Park this Saturday to take on Costal Spirit SAS. Grab your morning coffee and head on down to support the ladies. Kick off is at 10.15am. It is fantastic for the club to have a girls team in each age group (grades 10, 12, 14 18 and CCL), creating a pathway for our younger female players to develop and progress through to the CCL team – We are focused on the future of FC Players!
FC’s men’s first team is taking on Western AFC at English Park, 2pm KO (correction to KO time). The reserves are also away against Universities AFC at Ilam Fields (12.30pm KO), and for the remainder of the season, are being coached by club legend Keith Grosvenor, who is taking over from Mark Anderson for the rest of the season due to his hands being rather full from now on (twins arriving soon!).
I wish all the FC teams well and invite all players and supporters to the Avonhead Tavern for the post-match functions.
