Volunteer coaches are the backbone and lifeblood of any football club. The primary goal of all FC Twenty11 coaches is to engage and encourage all players to enjoy the game. Building lifelong friendship, comradery and resilience.
Please find below a list of resources available to all coaches:
The New Zealand Football Coach Education Pathway has courses available at all levels of the game including Junior, Youth and Senior. Each course provides coaches with age appropriate learning to enhance their players experience and development in the game. Find out more about each course and what it offers by clicking here. For more information relating to Coach Education, please contact Sheree Lapslie (sheree@mff.nz).
For those parents wanting to get a better understanding of the ‘Law of the Game’, Mainland Football offers a series of Community Based Referee Courses. These courses are 3-4 hours taking a basic view of the ‘Law of the Game’. This course is suitable for those who want to become Community Referees, or just want to gain a better knowledge of the Laws of the Game. Click here for further information.
Coaches wanting to attend specific courses should make contact with Colin Williamson (Colin@FCTwenty11.co.nz) well in advance so details can be discussed, considered and or attendance budgeted and planned for. For more details on the coaching courses hosted by FC Twenty11 click here.
