Did you know that FC Twenty 11 started out as Marist AFC in 1924 and then changed its name to Shamrock FC in 1941?
Did you also know that we were runners up in the Chatham Cup in 1956 or that we won the English Cup in 1984?
Time is quickly passing us by and as I look at all the trophies in our cabinet, some sparkly new and others old and shabby, I started wondering about how they all came about. It got me to thinking that as a new club member I don’t know much about our history and I need to change that. For this I need your help.
We are looking for current and ex players, coaches and volunteers to document their stories, and photograph their memorabilia as part of a Football Memories project for our website.
