2021 Winter Season Trials

We welcome all Youth member to give these trials a go.  It’s a great experience.  If unsuccessful in being placed in a CUDL team, players will then be allocated to Youth grade teams determined at a later open training session.

Grade 13/14/15/17 Trial Dates & Times:

  • U13 CUDL / U14 CUDL – 10, 12, 17 & 19 February 2021 @ Avonhead Park from 5:15pm – 6:15pm
  • U15 CUDL / U17 CUDL – 9, 11, 16 & 18 February 2021 @ Avonhead Park from 5:15pm – 6:15pm


Trial process: 
 All trial participants must register their attendance.  Please click on this link to redirect to our registration form.  The trials will be lead by Tsetso and include a number of our Coaches.   Can all players please arrive 20-30 minutes prior to ensure we can get started on time.

Team Announcements: All CUDL teams will be announced on the 21st February.  Those selected for the CUDL team will commence with their first training session within the week due to a slightly earlier season start.  FC Twenty11 will hold a separate open training/trial session for those unsuccessful in being placed in a CUDL team or for those wishing to play in the regular winter season competition commencing on the 1st May.  Date to be determined.

2021 CUDL Winter Season

The Canterbury United Development League has been designed to enhance the development of football within New Zealand.  Only those clubs with a Licence or invited by Mainland Football can enlist a team in the league.  Each club can only register one team per club into each youth grade.  Other requirements include attendance to all three training sessions per week for the 30 week season, video analysis, one-on-one player/coach meeting and attendance to a nutrition course.

CUDL Winter Season Starts: Monday 22nd February to Saturday 2nd October (CUDL differs from all other grades start date)
Cancellations: Christchurch City Council will advise Mainland Football of any cancellation, due to poor weather or concern for the football ground via their website. FC Twenty11 will endeavour to update their Facebook page as soon as possible.

Grade 13 CUDL

Training:
    Session 1: Tuesday 4:30pm to 6:00pm at Avonhead Park
    Session 2: Thursday 4:30pm to 6:00pm at Avonhead Park
    Session 3: Friday 4:15pm to 5:30pm at Upper Riccarton Domain

Game: Saturday – 9:15am (TBC)

Cost: $850 – Includes Mainland Football winter registration fee, NZ Football affiliation fees, 3 training sessions per week for 30 weeks, game day and training kit.

Grade 14 CUDL

Training:
    Session 1: Tuesday 4:30pm to 6:00pm at Avonhead Park
    Session 2: Thursday 4:30pm to 6:00pm at Avonhead Park
    Session 3: Friday 4:15pm to 5:30pm at Upper Riccarton Domain

Game: Saturday – 10:45am (TBC)

Game: Friday – 6:00pm (TBC)

Grade 17 CUDL

Training:
    Session 1: Tuesday 6:30pm to 8:00pm at Avonhead Park
    Session 2: Thursday 6:30pm to 8:00pm at Avonhead Park

Game: Saturday – 10:45am (TBC)

Cost: $800 – Includes Mainland Football winter registration fee, NZ Football affiliation fees, 3 training sessions per week for 30 weeks, game day and training kit.
